Reasons/circumstances under which the organisation was formed

India is a developing country. 25 years ago Kanpur city had lot of slum population. People of poor socioeconomic status were not able to afford hitech eye care services and so many old poor people pass their life with needless blindness which is avoidable. They are dependents on others for their day to day activities. Thus seeing the need of the society Organisation was formed to serve the older needy cataract patient by treating curable blindness and making them physically and financially self dependent.


Vision

To provide quality hitech medical service to the poor older and under privileged cataract blind persons. Our aim under this Project is to serve the older needy patients by treating curable blindness and making them physically and financially self dependant. This way we are giving them good quality life and longevity.

Mission

We will organize free Eye check up camps at various underserved areas and after identifying the needy old cataract blind persons we will bring then to the base hospital in our own vehicles. After complete medical & pathological examination quality IOL surgery will be done. Pre operative, post operative medicine, food, glasses & spectacles will be provided by organization & patient will be dropped back to the screening site next day. Regular follow ups will be done for a month at screening sites.
